Thursday - Out of Order

Since the Thursday crew is available first, these posts are going to be out of order (all three days - Wed, Thurs, and Fri - are posting today).

Thursday was pretty awesome ( : We finished our jobs from Wednesday at Herbert and Ms Nell's house and Ronald's house.  At Herbert and Ms Nell's house, we hung dry wall and finished mudding. Meanwhile, at Ronald's house, we finished picking up debris from a shed that was torn down the day before.  The weather was smokin' and  stankin' hottt !!! It was in the mid 90's with the heat index over 100 degrees. It was a good way to wrap up a hard week of work.  Everyone appreciated the work that was put forth by both groups.  While at Ronald's house, he talked to us about his experiences at war while in Iraq. He also shared  a lot of wisdom with us from past experiences throughout his life.  It was moving for him to sit down and really open up the way he did(: After this week of work, we were really beat but we felt good about what all we had accomplished while impacting people throughout the city of New Orleans (: !
